Batman Volume 1: The Court of Owls. Gotham City The New 52 is a hit and it's because of titles like this one. While fighting the good fight, the hero encounters a historic, secret villain that almost has him beat. He Wake #1 only made it to number 40, showing that retailers have more confiednce in Image than Vertigo. Ten Grand from JMS and Ben Templesmith launched at 25th place, though it was returnable ( and also that its place will have been discounted on the chart). I have sales here at the shop to gauge a lot of whats going on…. But I'm wondering how everybody is feeling about our 'New 52′ Universe….Here's the 'Top Preformers' in order of sales (grouped by sales numbers)…. 1.) The Court of the Owls Volume 1 (collecting Batman issues 1-7) is a phenominal book, easily the best entry point to The New 52 of the ones I have been exposed to thus far.
